A team of MACC officers were at former premier Najib Abdul Razak's residence at Langgak Duta, Kuala Lumpur, this morning.
However, MACC deputy commissioner (operations) Azam Baki clarified that it was not a raid.
He told Malaysiakini that the officers went to the residence to collect information to facilitate the commission's probe, but declined to reveal details.
"No raid. Only a meeting to get some information that can help our investigation," he said in a text message.
Earlier, news reports said that some 10 MACC officers were spotted entering the residence at around 11am.
